Milwaukee Bucks point guard Patrick Beverley is under police investigation after throwing a ball at an Indiana Pacers fan during Game 6 of their first-round playoff series.
On Wednesday, TMZ confirmed that the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is taking up a case report after Beverley hurled the ball twice toward a fan at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.
The representative from IMPD told TMZ the report has been forwarded to detectives, who are trying to access more footage of the incident from the arena and get statements from the parties involved.
The source added that detectives are expected to send their findings to prosecutors as soon as they finish the probe.
While Beverley has yet to address the criminal investigation publicly, he expressed how his actions were 'inexcusable' on The Pat Bev Podcast with Rone.
