Incoming Liverpool boss Arne Slot sang 'You'll Never Walk Alone' at his surprise Feyenoord farewell party as he prepares to make his Anfield move official.

Slot is expected to be announced as Jurgen Klopp's successor in the near future now the season has ended - with both clubs still to confirm the appointment.

He took charge of his final match in charge at De Kuip at the weekend and watched on as his side beat Excelsior in front of a large banner adorned with his face.

Goals from Gernot Trauner, Ondrej Lingr, David Hancko and Lutsharel Geertruida ensured Slot, who last week revealed he would indeed take over from Klopp after a compensation package was agreed, was given a swansong to remember. 

Later that evening, Feyenoord then hosted a BBQ for Slot, his backroom staff and his players at their training ground. His family also organised a surprise party for the tactician, who was none the wiser when a rendition of one iconic anthem began.
