Here's TOM FARMERY with a round-up of all the League Two action from the weekend, as Grimsby supporters come up with a novel way to protest their side's Checkatrade Trophy fixture.

Grimsby Town fans.

Supporters have a voice and need to be listened to. In protest to their side’s Checkatrade Trophy game against Doncaster on August 29, Town fans have decided to host a game against fans of the League One side on the same day.

It must also be noted that the fixture has been in some way meddled with. The venue for the game has changed not once, not twice, but three times. Again, fans need to be listened and this is a great example of how when many voices are put together they can’t be silenced out. Good on them and the Doncaster fans who are also taking part. It’s sad to reiterate this, but football without fans really is nothing.
