And while Liverpool's response was breathtaking Lampard believes their failures at the back are preventing them from turning performances into points.
'We saw both sides of Liverpool, lots of good stuff – fast play, entertaining stuff to watch,' Lampard told BT Sport after the match.
'When it clicks they can beat any team in the world, but if
