N'Golo Kante believes his decision to leave Leicester for Chelsea has been vindicated after finally making his Champions League debut.

Kante left the Foxes at the start of last season for a switch to Stamford Bridge, but the move raised a few eyebrows given Leicester had qualified for the Champions League following their monumental title win in 2016, while Chelsea were without European football.

But at the relatively old age of 26, the France international finally made his European club bow on Tuesday night in Chelsea's 6-0 thrashing of Qarabag.
