Who have been the stand out players of Season 2?

'This season the four teams at the top are very much the best performing teams. Sometimes you can have a qualifier who wasn't that consistent or impressive but did just about enough to make it. Not this time around. All four teams have been super impressive so to answer this question I want to highlight the best player from each team.

'Team Infused's baby-faced assassin Shakz has been almost unstoppable this season. Unbelievably reliable and has a thing for finishing his opponents quickly. I think he holds the record for quickest wins. The kid is rabid!

'For Prophecy, the surprise package of the season, their MVP has got to be DarkMoonHado. Zera, Akainu and Shivs have also been remarkable for the team but the fact that DarkMoon was signed to another team last season, never got a look in, but turned up this season and annihilated almost everyone who's crossed his path, blows me away.

'For Excel, the defending champs and favourites going into this finale, I was torn between Hurricane and Infexious. Brian has also been incredible I must say. But inevitably, the MVP for these guys has to be Hurricane.

'Infexious has been brilliant as always but had a bad week vs Prophecy courtesy of DarkMoonHado and hasn't always been available to play week in week out. Hurricane however, is an unspoken hero on the squad.

'Infexious being feared so much only makes Hurricane stronger, because opposition players spend so much time trying to figure out the expressionless menace, that they almost forget how difficult Hurricane is to beat.

'And finally, for team Envyus, it's got to be Nassim-Claw. The signing of Mr Crimson made everyone turn their attention to the former Capcom Cup qualifier from Lyon.

'But Nassim has been an absolute menace. His crazy rushdown approach to Vega makes him one of the most difficult players to deal with. If he performs this Friday, EnvyUs, who are sitting pretty at the top of the table, are likely to take the whole thing!

'An honorable mention also goes out to SaltyKid. The new kid on the block
