Chelsea's hopes of qualifying for the Champions League next season took a battering as Dele Alli struck twice to hand Tottenham their first win at Stamford Bridge in 28 years. 

Alvaro Morata had opened the scoring for the home side but Christian Eriksen's stunner and Alli's double provided Tottenham with a vitally important win.

Despite his tender years, Sunday's clash at the Bridge brought up his 100th match in the Premier League.

During that time there have been moments of brilliance and moments of petulance.

Against Chelsea it was the former. The Tottenham No 20 superbly plucked the ball out of the air and finished on the run before bagging a second.

It was a fitting way to mark the special occasion.

The last time Tottenham won at Chelsea, Nelson Mandela was still in prison

Tottenham had not won at Chelsea since 1990.

To put that into context - the last time they left south London with three points, Nelson Mandela was still in prison and Margaret Thatcher was the Prime Minister.

A fresh faced Gary Lineker sealed the victory for them all those 28 years ago. This time, it was another young flyer who stole the show with Dele Alli bagging himself a brace.
