Prospective new Barcelona signing Arthur Melo has spoken of his disappointment at not being given the opportunity to realise his 'dream' of appearing alongside Andres Iniesta at the Nou Camp.
Brazilian midfielder Arthur could move to Europe this summer after playing a key role in Gremio's 2017 Copa Libertadores triumph, with the reigning La Liga champions having agreed a purchase option of £26million plus £8m in add-ons in March.
Viewed by many - including compatriots Zico and Luiz Felipe Scolari - as the long-term successor to Iniesta in Catalonia, the 21-year-old has repeatedly stated his admiration for Barcelona's much-loved captain, describing him as an 'idol' and a 'football god' while stating his ambition to appear in the same team under Ernesto Valverde.

The Blaugrana legend, who only signed a lifetime contract with Barcelona in October 2017, has yet to officially confirm his next move, but is widely expected to head to China.
