UEFA and FIFA could be on collision course over FIFA's proposals for new competitions.
The European Leagues are opposed to FIFA's plans to introduce two brand new competitions, a revamped Club World Cup and a new FIFA Nations League.
FIFA met on Monday to discuss the proposals and a working group has been set up to investigate the possibilities and relevance of the competitions.

But the European Leagues have asked UEFA, the European Club Association and the world players' union FIFPro to 'join forces' at the Professional Football Strategy Council on May 16 and stop FIFA from being able to introduce the new competitions.
