Manchester City midfielder Fernandinho has moved to reassure supporters that Brazil teammate Neymar is looking confident and fearless in training as he bids to regain full match fitness ahead of the World Cup.
Neymar sat out the Selecao's latest session at Tottenham Hotspur's facility in Enfield, north London on Thursday after earlier admitting that he had yet to fully recover following a fractured metatarsal that curtailed a goal-laden first season at Paris Saint-Germain back in February and required surgery.
The 26-year-old, whose 2014 World Cup campaign on home soil was ended by a broken bone in his back, was pictured receiving treatment from a physio on that same foot on Wednesday, though has vowed that he will be fully fit for Brazil's Group E opener against Switzerland in Rostov-On-Don on 17 June.
