American official Mark Geiger will referee England's last-16 World Cup match against Colombia.

The 43-year-old from New Jersey's appointment was announced by FIFA on Sunday afternoon.

He made headlines earlier in the tournament after being accused by Nordin Amrabat of asking Cristiano Ronaldo
