A dramatic Austrian Grand Prix saw Max Verstappen take victory on a day that resulted in a huge shift in the championship fight.

Verstappen's first 2018 win on Red Bull's home track also saw Sebastian Vettel finish third to reclaim the world championship lead back off Lewis Hamilton. 

With so much drama on the circuit, there was plenty of action happening elsewhere as Sportsmail takes a look at the things you missed from the Red Bull Ring.

Maybe there is room for a Ricciardo shoey

While Verstappen stormed to victory in one Red Bull, it was contrasting scenes in the sister car.

Daniel Ricciardo was forced to retire from fifth place after suffering what looked like an engine failure.

Still, the Red Bull star may get the chance to perform a 'shoey', with one of his two brirthday cakes presented to him before the race featuring his raceboot. Whether he is tempted to mix alcohol and icing by drinking from the boot is another matter...

Red Bull make themselves at home

It was Red Bull's home race in Spielberg and to mark the occasion, their drivers Verstappen and Ricciardo changed into local attire as they arrived on the grid pre-race.

Dressed in lederhosen, the two drivers looked in good spirits as they posed trackside. It wasn't just the Red Bull team getting involved either, as Toro Rosso drivers Brendon Hartley and Pierre Gasly also donned the lederhosen.
