Hull City want to re-sign Scunthorpe United left-back Conor Townsend - two years after allowing him to leave.

The 25-year-old came through Hull's academy as a youngster and was sent out on a series of loans to the likes of Grimsby Town, where he won young player of the year, Chesterfield and Dundee United.

Townsend left Hull after his contract ran out in January 2016 and joined Scunthorpe United where
