These shocking photographs capture the body of great white shark after it choked to death on a turtle in Japan.

The grisly images show the 4,500lbs creature splattered in blood while the front of its prey remains locked between its terrifying jaws.

Fisherman Greg Vella posted the pictures online on Friday and explained that the lifeless shark was discovered caught up in netting.
