Apple could have some major updates in store for its wireless headphones.
Top Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo predicts the iPhone maker will release two new versions of AirPods in late 2019 or early 2020.
One version will appear similar to the current iteration, while another model will feature a complete redesign and a higher price tag.

'We expect Apple will likely launch two new AirPods models in 4Q19 at the earliest,' Kuo, an analyst at TF International Securities, explained.
'One is the all-new form factor design at a higher price. The other's outlook and price will be the same as the current model's.
'...[We] estimate AirPods shipments will reach 52 million and 75-85 million units in 2019 and 2020, respectively,' he added.
It's not yet clear what the new design will look like, however previous reports have suggested they'd be relatively small upgrades.
The original AirPods cost $159, while the second-generation AirPods are priced at $199 with a wireless charging included.
