Netflix is testing a new Instagram-style feed in its mobile app featuring trailers, photos and alerts for new movies, TV shows and other content.
The feed, dubbed Extras, is currently rolling out Extras to a selected test audience - although Netflix hasn't commented on who will be receiving it.
Extras also lets you share your TV and movie recommendations with friends on social media, as well as the ability to add titles directly to your watch list.
The Coming Soon icon has been replaced with a new Extras icon which brings users to the feed, for those who have the feature.

Much like Instagram, videos included in the feed will play automatically but silently and trailers won't automatically launch into the full movie or show.
Image galleries can be scrolled through horizontally, again like Instagram, and for trailers, you can click through the app to watch.
