Exactly 21 years, TiVo made its debut at CES as a pioneer in DVRS and now the firm has returned to the event with a new device for your television – a streaming stick.

The firm revealed its new Stream 4K at CES this week that integrates with Sling TV and uses a customized version of Android TV to aggregate your streamed content.

The device carries a price tag of $49.99, allowing TiVo to become a contender in the internet-streaming war against the likes of Apple TV, Roku and Amazon Fire TV.

TiVo first introduced a digital video recorder (DVR) in 1999 at CES.
