You can 'feed your ex to the lions' in a fundraiser that lets people name a cockroach or rodent that is then fed to an animal at the San Diego Zoo on Valentine's Day.

As part of the zoo's annual 'Cry me a Cockroach' event, donors can send their former lover a digital Valentine's Day Card informing them that a creature was named in their honor and fed to an animal.

The zoo charges $10 for cockroaches and $25 to name a rodent, and anyone in the world can participate.

Those looking for sweet revenge can pay for the $150 premium package, which includes a personalized video message showing the not-so-special someone the animal feasting on their cockroach, vegetable or rodent.

While none of the creatures will be fed to lions, they will be eaten by birds and lizards.
