Did you know iPhones have warning signs to indicate when your privacy is being compromised?

If you ever noticed the coloured bar at the top of your Apple smartphone, then you will have seen it in action.

The colours appear on your black status bar, at the very top of the device. The three different colours mean three very different things. 

Orange dot means your microphone is activated

Your eyes may fool you into seeing this as yellow, means you're using your microphone - whether it's for a FaceTime call or while watching a YouTube video.

Green dot means your camera is activated 

The green dot means you're using your camera one way or another, according to Apple's very own colour code system.
