In a world now dependent on the use of technology to keep up connections with loved ones while utilised to pass the time, there's nothing quite more infuriating than when an app decides to crash. 

But, what if the app is still in perfect running order, except you can't navigate it in the usual fashion because of a button glitch?

Ask the millions of frustrated Android users, who have been on the unfortunate end of a technical glitch on the Facebook app. 

Meta-owned Facebook rolled out its new update, Version 439, on October 31, 2023. 

Following the update on the social app, Android users soon discovered that their back button was not in its usual place - at the bottom of the screen.

Previously, those with Android phones could simply tap the button at the bottom and return to the last screen they were on. In the same instance, Apple users are able to simply swipe right to go back. 

Instead, Android users now have no option but to scroll to the top and tap an alternative back button.

Although it may appear as a minor inconvenience, users have been expressing their fury on X, formerly Twitter, as they protest for the return of the
