Retired UN translator pinned suicide note to front door for postman to find in ...

A former United Nations translator killed himself and left a note for the postman saying 'I'm dead, you can find my body inside'. 

Peter Stabler, 83, pinned the message to his front door before taking his own life at his home in Bungay, Suffolk.  

The note gave details on where to find a spare key and asked whoever found it to call the police.

Postman James Whitely discovered the message and followed the instructions before police found Mr Stabler's body in the bathroom.
