A young Tory has been mocked for flashing her 'I love Boris Johnson' leg tattoo at party conference - but she took the insults in her stride by hitting back against her critics.
Jade Smith, from Redcar, was featured on a Twitter and Instagram post from Labour-supporting journalist Owen Jones yesterday, in which he showed the inking of the former Foreign Secretary with the caption, 'I think I'm done with conference'.
The 20-year-old hit back: 'Guys I've made it in life. Owen Jones is leaving conference because of my tattoo.'

Ms Smith hit the headlines two years ago when she quit the Tories after claiming she had been 'victimised and bullied' by the chairman of the South Tees Conservative Association. She has now rejoined the party.
Her tattoo choice let to a storm of criticism on Instagram, with Becca Sheridan posting: 'Anyone got any bleach? I need to burn my eyes out.'
