MPs flouted a ban on taking photographs inside the Commons tonight to give a glimpse of the revolt against Theresa May's Brexit deal. 

A raft of Labour MPs gleefully took photographs while inside the 'No' lobby alongside 118 Tory rebels.

Publishing photographs taken inside Parliament is generally banned on security grounds. 

But MPs inflicting the worst ever defeat on a Prime Minister failed to resist temptation to revel in their victory.

Lloyd Russell-Moyle - who seized the mace during the Brexit debates - posted a picture and added: 'In the no voting lobby to vote against this deal. I’ve rarely seen it this full. May has united the Commons against her and her deal. Next step No Confidence Now'.
