A drug dealer arrested after the death of porn star Aimee Spencer had a lavish lifestyle funded by his grandfather, ex-TV executive Lord Gus Macdonald.
Daniel William Lewis, 30, from Brighton, received a suspended sentence in November 2018 after he admitted drug offences, including possessing LSD and cocaine with intent to supply.
But on January 16, three senior judges at in London ruled his punishment 'unduly lenient' - and jailed him for three years.
Now it has emerged that the former body builder had inherited a trust fund from his grandfather Lord Macdonald of Tradeston, the former managing director of STV and transport minister.
Jean Spencer - the mother of Miss Spencer, who fell to her death at Lewis's flat in July 2016 - had previously claimed the soft sentence he initially received last November was due to his wealthy family helping him through rehabilitation.
