The son of Joaquin 'El Chapo' Guzman was posting inspirational quotes on social media a day before his infamous cartel boss father was found guilty in a high profile drug trafficking case.
El Chapo, who rose from poverty in rural Mexico to amass billions of dollars, was found guilty in a New York court on Tuesday of smuggling tons of drugs to the United States over a violent, colorful, decades-long career.

'Become who you are even if you hate the world,' Ivan wrote alongside a new profile photo of him in an exotic, beachside location.
He also uploaded several images to his live Facebook feed, including a message saying: 'People interested in investing and double your money send message. $1,000 dollars = $8,000'.
Another one of Ivan's post featured a Western Union wire transfer receipt for $5,000 with the caption: 'Proof of returning the agreed amount'.
There was also a video of a tiger being fed as his father's conviction was being handed down in the U.S.
His social media is filled with photos of lavish holiday destinations, as well as luxury cars and designer products.

Ivan also uploaded a video of a pet tiger being fed as his father's conviction was being handed down in the U.S
A number of his past posts have been accompanied by the hashtag #701 - a nod to El Chapo once being listed as 701st on Forbes' World's Billionaires list.
Despite his father's high-profile detention and trial, Ivan and his brother Jesus Alfredo Guzman, have been maintaining the billion dollar drug empire in his absence.
El Chapo's sons are known collectively as 'los Chapitos' or 'the little Chapos'.
They work in partnership with Sinaloa Cartel leader Ismael 'El Mayo' Zambada Garcia.
The Chapitos are said to control street-level drug dealing, especially in Culiacan, and the defense operations, the weapons, while El Mayo takes care of the big deals.
The brothers are said to have been groomed to take over the business.
Alfredo is currently a fugitive after being added to the Drug Enforcement Administration's 10 Most Wanted List.
