Libby Squire's parents share new picture of missing student, 21,

Libby Squire's heartbroken family today released a new photograph of her on Christmas Day as they begged the public to help find her.

The Hull student vanished almost two weeks ago after a drunken night with friends and was last seen on a bench in one of the city's busiest roads at around midnight on Thursday January 31.

Today police divers are again searching a pond in her local park while hundreds of Humberside officers have been hunting the area around the University of Hull for her but to no avail.

Her bereft parents Lisa and Russ are attending a special church service today organised in their home town of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, and made a new appeal for information and released recent photographs of their eldest child.

The new photograph was taken on Christmas Day in 2018 which Libby spent with her parents and siblings.

The following new photograph was taken in Paris in May 2017 during a gap year when Libby visited the French city with friends.

Libby Squire's parents have released these photographs of their daughter, left on Christmas Day 2018 and right on a gap year trip to Paris in 2017

In a short statement, the couple said: 'Libby is a much loved big sister to her three younger siblings. They all really look up to her and she always expects them to behave.

'Libby has a big heart. She is always happy and having fun. She laughs a lot. She is a real family person, and loves spending time at home with them [her family].

'We want these new photos of Libby to be shared along with these existing ones which will help in our search for her'.

MailOnline yesterday unearthed CCTV footage of the 21-year-old philosophy undergraduate outside a nightclub on the night she mysteriously vanished.

The young woman, who police believe is Miss Squire, can be seen walking with three friends as she heads to the Welly Club in Hull.

In icy conditions, she appears to be unsteady on her feet, as if drunk, and can be seen walking along the pavement in a short skirt.

Miss Squire arrived at the nightspot at 11.18pm on Thursday, January 31, but wasn’t allowed inside by bouncers as she was thought to be too drunk.

The video footage then appears to show her waiting with a friend for a taxi to take her home as other clubbers
