A storm chaser has shared a snap of the powerful moment he proposed to his girlfriend against a dramatic meteorological background.
Thomas Hinterdorfer, 24, proposed to his girlfriend of six months Amber Hardie, 27, in Bellthorpe, in the Sunshine Coast's south-west on Tuesday at about 5.15pm.
The professional storm chaser of six years perfectly timed the romantic moment with the storm breaking just minutes after he popped the question.

Mr Hinterdorfer bought the ring in December but said he had to delay the engagement until 2019 due to lacklustre storms.
