Bodycam footage showing the dramatic moment when police burst into the house of the drug dealing grandson of a Labour Party grandee has been released.

Daniel Lewis, whose grand father Lord Gus McDonald, who served under Tony Blair, was jailed after Geordie Shore star Aimee Spencer fell to her death from his home.

The reality TV star was high on a cocktail of drugs when she fell from Lewis's home in Brighton.

When police burst into the property, Lewis told officers he had taken cocaine and diazapem.

He then asks officers where is Aimee, who he said had also taken drugs.

The 27-year-old reality star and porn actor, who had taken cocaine and ketamine, fell two storeys to her death at Daniel Lewis's drug-strewn flat in Brighton in July 2016.

Ms Spencer's death features in an ITV documentary this evening.

Her sister Daria Spencer still wants answers about her sibling's final hours.

She told Katie Piper: 'We were told that she went out the window, they didn’t say how. Was she pushed, did she go out on her own free will? That was the main question. My sister is scared of heights, what was she doing climbing out of a window?'

One of the first officers on the scene in Chichester Terrace in July 2016 said: 'What we have got basically is a chap upstairs, off his tits on drugs – at this stage it is looked at as suspicious. We’ve got a witness from a flat downstairs and the females been found in a life threatening condition.'

Ms Spencer was taken to hospital in Brighton and placed in a drug induced coma although she never recovered.

He was arrested after the admission and taken into police custody for questioning

Detective Sergeant Sally Hodges, who investigated the incident arrived at the flat shortly after the first officers arrived.

She remarked: 'What are all the balloons for? Looks like there has been a party or something. I mean it is not a window you would accidentally fall out of... Or they are so off their heads it is an accident. It’s all early days, but that is the scenario we have got at the moment. She is sedated and her face is unrecognisable and pelvic injuries, so we are looking at quite serious injuries.'

Detective constable Sarah Townsend managed to track down a key witness who saw Ms Spencer fall. She said: 'He described her falling out of the window... But he hasn’t actually seen anyone push her, he hasn’t seen her jump so we’re still kind of none the wiser really.'

Detective inspector Andy Wolstenholme, who lead the probe, said: 'When you look around the sink, there are no drag marks or scuff marks or smudges or things like that, that you would associate with someone being hoisted up there against their against their will.'

Daniel Lewis received a two-year suspended sentence after he admitted drug offences, including possessing LSD and cocaine with intent to supply

Eight days after the fall, Ms Spencer's family agree to have her life support system switched off.

Such was the level of Lewis' drug taking on the night, officers had to wait more than 48 hours to question him.

A post mortem found Ms Spencer had ketamine as well as cocaine in her system.

Lewis, 30, was arrested but never charged in connection with her death.

He received a suspended sentence in November 2018 after he admitted drug offences, including possessing LSD and cocaine with intent to supply. But on January 16, three senior judges in London ruled his punishment 'unduly lenient' - and jailed him for three years.

The former bodybuilder is the son of Jean Macdonald, the daughter of Lord Macdonald of Tradeston, 78, who was the former managing director of Scottish Television (STV), a Labour peer and a transport minister under Tony Blair from 1999 to 2001.

It has now emerged that Lewis's lifestyle was supported by a trust fund from his grandfather, who retired from the House of Lords in April 2017.

It is not known exactly how much Lewis was given, however he enjoyed a party lifestyle - and was hosting an event at his flat on the night Miss Spencer died.

She was there with him and his girlfriend Helen Dawson at the event, which featured 'party platters' of class A drugs. Police eventually recovered £15,000 worth of drugs.

Lewis, whose rehabilitation treatment following Miss Spencer's death was supported by the trust fund, was also known to be selling mail order
