A woman who stole a £1,200 mink coat at a mall in east China was arrested by police after she returned to the store the next day.
The woman inadvertently turned herself in when she went back to the shop to seek help from sales associates after having trouble with the buttons, according to Chinese media.
Officers who were at the store investigating the incident recognised the woman, surnamed Song, from surveillance footage and arrested her on the spot.
