An unwitting thief who was filmed smashing a driver's windscreen and stealing a phone has been shamed online after he was filmed on the car's dashcam.
Gavin Rowland's camera filmed the inside of his vehicle after it was triggered by a motion sensor when parked in Liverpool city centre.
When the man was filmed breaking into the car on Tuesday, Mr Rowland's dashcam took HD footage of criminal, which was then posted online.
