Stormy Daniels' attorney Michael Avenatti has given up financial control of his law firm after he was accused of hiding millions of dollars to spend on himself.

The 47-year-old lawyer was said to have opened six bank accounts to hide legal fees from a bankruptcy court. 

It was claimed he had spent them on extravagances such as $3,640 on a Ferrari payment, $150,000 for his troubled coffee company and $53,600 for his ex-wife. 

He has now allowed a court to take control of bank accounts, computers and other assets belonging to the firm Eagan Avenatti, the Los Angeles Times reported. 

Last year the firm was ordered to pay $10million to former partner at the firm,
