A woman has been killed after she was struck by a moped driven by suspected drug dealers who were being chased by police.

Lesley Bello Hernandez was walking along the road in Cambridge on the afternoon of Wednesday 13 February when she was involved in a collision with a vehicle.

The 67-year-old was treated by paramedics, but was declared dead at the scene on Arbury Road.

A 25-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving, aggravated vehicle taking and possession with intent to supply drugs, and remains in custody.

A 19-year-old woman was also arrested but has since been released under investigation.
