A father-of-two has been told to spend more than $50,000 to tear down his carport because the council objected to it - despite his neighbours giving him the go ahead.
Nathan Slonim, 41, has been told to tear down his carport at the front of his home in Mooloolaba on Queensland's Sunshine Coast.
Mr Slonim said the Sunshine Coast Council told him the carport needed to come down as it dominated the street, and should've been built in front of his bedroom instead.
