An anonymous buyer has shelled at a huge £4,600 for a 19th century horsehair-stuffed sperm whale penis at a bizarre auction.
The Out of The Ordinary auction also showcased items such as a giant polar bear and a cave bear skeleton.
The auction, held at Sworders of Stansted Mountfitchet in Essex on Tuesday fetched in almost £300k selling the peculiar items.
Buyers warmed to the 'unusual, whacky and downright strange mix' of objects that collectively raised £284,440.
