Claims have come to light that Michael Jackson's pet chimp, Bubbles, once tried to kill himself but was rushed to hospital in time.
The allegations were published by The Times of India who state that 2003 ended on a bad note for Jackson after he was formally charged with child-molestation and 'his favorite pet, a chimpanzee named Bubbles tried to commit suicide.'
The alleged attempt was unsuccessful and Bubbles, who's now 35, lives at the Center for Great Apes in Wauchula, Florida.
