How does this happen!? Astonishing photos show how a series of shocking tradie blunders ended with an entire home being built around a LADDER A ladder was caught in the wooden frame of roof in a hilarious building blunder The photo showed the wooden beam passing through the top rung of the ladder Rather than dismantle the frame of the roof the builder continued work on roof The end product was a finished roof with both ends of the ladder still jutting outBy Aidan Wondracz For Daily Mail Australia Published: 09:29 GMT, 16 February 2019 | Updated: 09:29 GMT, 16 February 2019 Viewcomments Tradies have been left red-faced after erecting the timber frame of a home around a ladder. And to make matters worse, no one thought to fix the problem before an entire roof was constructed on top. The photo of the embarrassing blunder was uploaded to Facebook this week along with the comment: 'At what point do you stop?' A builder has been left red-faced after managing to build a timber frame around a ladder In the photo, a wooden beam runs through the top rung of the ladder before it is connected on either end to the frame of the roof. Rather than dismantle the wooden frame and start from scratch, the builder continued to lay the tiles on the roof. To the builder's defence the final product did look like a roof in the end, albeit with two ends of the ladder jutting out from under the tiles. Users on social media on the other hand were having a field day over the photo. 'Are these real? Or just staged no one could be this incompetent surely,' one user commented. 'You’re f***ing joking,' a different user said. Others suggested the problem could be easily fixed: 'Could just cut the top of ladder out with an angle grinder.'
