Denise Welch has waded into the Shamima Begum controversy by saying her baby should be taken away, while Gemma Atkinson says the jihadi schoolgirl should not be allowed back into the UK.

They are the latest celebrities to offer their views on the 19-year-old who is begging to return home after fleeing to Syria to marry an ISIS fighter in 2015.  

Loose Women panelist Denise sparked a row on the daytime show after she suggested the 'safest' option would be for the jihadi bride's baby to be removed and given to another family.
