Bradley Soper (right), who mysteriously died after breaking into a family home, was previously banned from going near Alysse Bowen (left) if he had been taking drugs A troubled personal trainer who mysteriously died when he broke into a family home was previously banned from going near a female client if he had been drinking or taking drugs. Johan Schwartz, 44, was woken at 7.30am on Sunday and walked downstairs to find Bradley Soper in the living room of his Harrington Park home in Sydney's south-west. The muscular intruder collapsed and became unconscious during the confrontation. He died at the scene. Mr Soper's friends said the incident was 'completely out of character' for the usually 'gentle' and 'decent' 35-year-old, but conceded he had gone through 'personal issues' in recent times - including troubles with women and an addiction to cocaine. One of those issues came to a head in 2017 when Sydney woman Alysse Bowen took out an AVO against Soper, Daily Mail Australia can reveal. 'The defendant must not approach or be in the company of [Ms Bowen] for at least 12 hours after drinking alcohol or taking illicit drugs,' court documents state. Mr Soper represented himself at Waverley Local Court when the order was made in February 2017. Mr Soper was a strength and conditioning coach, according to his Instagram page, which showed him competing in various Strongman competitions around the world. In 2015, Ms Bowen appeared in social media photos taken at Mr Soper's gym in Narellan, with captions suggesting she was one of his clients. Joe Williams, a former NRL player, professional boxer and close friend of Mr Soper, said he knew nothing of the 35-year-old's recent troubles. 'He was a decent guy mate. I'm shocked at the circumstances,' Williams told Daily Mail Australia. 'Breaking into someone's house? That's not the Brad I knew. That's not how we want to remember him. 'It's completely out of character... it's hard to believe it's actually him.' Johan Francois Schwartz, 44, was woken by his dogs barking and walked downstairs to find the muscular intruder in his living room. His wife and young child were at home at the time Another friend, Tracey Redden, told Daily Mail Australia Mr Soper was a 'very kind and caring young man'. 'This event is so out of character for him. I can't imagine him breaking into that house - he was clearly delusional and didn't know where he was,' she said. 'He was a larrikin but not someone who would break into a family's home - no way.' Others took to social media to describe Mr Soper as 'a great bloke, an inspiration and an awesome coach'. 'Forever in my heart Brad Soper I love you man, fly high big fella. Absolutely shattered, your heart was broken and you could never recover,' one said. The home invasion took place at a newly-built house in Harrington Park early on Sunday Friends and clients have paid tribute to Mr Soper (pictured) and expressed their disbelief that he would break into a home Mr Shwartz was questioned for several hours by NSW Police, but was released on Sunday night without charge pending further inquiries. The 44-year-old father previously made online comments about thieves who were caught in the act. A Reddit social media account linked to Mr Schwartz commented on February 3 on a video showing an alleged mobile phone thief being held and pulled alongside a car by someone in the vehicle. 'If he is committed to crime, he will next time bring a gun and target someone more vulnerable like an 80-year-old,' the Reddit comment states. Mr Shwartz (pictured with his wife and daughter) was questioned for several hours by NSW Police, but was released on Sunday night without charge pending further inquiries Mr Soper (pictured) was identified on Monday as the muscular intruder who lost consciousness after making his way into the family home of Francois Schwartz, 44 'No sympathy. The person on the receiving end of his crime could also be poor, and worked hard at an honest job to buy that phone. What does his theft do to that honest person?' The comments were made two weeks before the break-in at Mr Schwartz's home on Sunday. Homicide detectives are assisting in the investigation and are awaiting the outcome of a post-mortem examination to determine the cause of Mr Soper's death. Mr Schwartz's wife and young child were home at the time of the incident. The competitive weightlifter, 35, (pictured) went from being 'Asia's Strongest Man' to dying in a confrontation with a homeowner Friends at his gym in Narellan, the suburb bordering Harrington Park, said Mr Soper (pictured) had recently broken up with his girlfriend Detective Chief Inspector Shane Woolbank said 'generally people are entitled to their home and they're entitled to use reasonable force to protect themselves and their property'. Criminal defence lawyer Omar Juweinat says a 'reasonable person' would likely feel threatened and fear for their family if they disturbed an intruder in their home. That could form the basis of a legal defence, he said. 'You wake up to find an intruder ... I'd be perplexed if police charged an occupant for defending their family,' Mr Juweinat said on Monday. 'If he was prosecuted it would shake up the law in a way I've never seen.' Comment has been sought from Mr Schwartz and Ms Bowen.
