Another case of a frenzied shopper guarding trolleys filled to the brim with boxes full of baby formula has been caught on camera - but the grocers say not all is as it seems.

Upset father Jason Wu, 35, captured a photograph of a woman with a pair of shopping trolleys in front of a Woolworths in Sydney's south last Friday.

Despite the supermarket having a two tin per customer policy, the woman can be seen with at least ten boxes, each of which can hold six tins.

But Woolworths officials say there's more than meets the eye when it comes to the photo.
