Burberry has apologised after a model complained about a hooded top with a noose around its neck.
Liz Kennedy, who walked in the company's London Fashion Week show on Sunday, said she was 'ashamed' to have been part of the event because of the insensitivity of the accessory.
Tagging Burberry and its Chief Creative Officer Riccardo Tisci, Ms Kennedy wrote in a searing Instagram post: 'Suicide is not fashion. It is not glamorous nor edgy and since this show is dedicated to the youth expressing their voice, here I go.
'Riccardo Tisci and everyone at Burberry it is beyond me how you could let a look resembling a noose hanging from a neck out on the runway.
