Traumatised fashionista, 22, who paid £20 for an edgy under-cut says she's been left with 'world's WORST haircut' after stylist 'butchered' her long locks Lucy Burrows from Swindon hoped for an elaborate undercut from Barber n' Bar But Cheltenham firm left her with uneven and wonky lines shaved in her head She compared the stylist to a butcher and said cut destroyed her confidence By Sebastian Murphy-bates For Mailonline Published: 14:22 GMT, 20 February 2019 | Updated: 14:22 GMT, 20 February 2019 Viewcomments A woman who received the 'world's worst haircut' claims her confidence has plummeted since hairdressers left her half bald. Lucy Burrows showed stylists a photo of an elaborate undercut that she had seen online. But the sales account manager was devastated after a hairdresser butchered her long locks instead. The 22-year-old's heart sank when she realised they had shaven wonky and uneven lines into her hair - a far cry from the edgy pattern she had shown them. Pictured, left: What Lucy Burrows wanted and, right, what she ended up with after going to Barber n' Bar in Cheltenham She says Barber n' Bar in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, first refused to acknowledge their mishap but eventually agreed to refund the £20 cut. However, half-bald Lucy, from Swindon, Wiltshire, is still angry about the incident despite the firm giving her an extra £10 with the refund. The 22-year-old (pictured) says the cut left her confidence destroyed She fumed: 'If you're looking for a butcher, Barber n' Bar is the right place. 'They absolutely destroyed my hair and confidence and I couldn't even go to work because of this.' Although the incident happened back in August, her hair has only just started to recover. 'I still can't wear my hair up at all and it looks so bad and messy,' she said. 'You can't tell as much anymore but it still feels very thin to me.' She added: 'After a long argument, the hairdressers admitted they did do it to me and sent back £30 but I am still half bald which obviously isn't great.' MailOnline has contacted Barber n' Bar for comment. It comes after a man in China had a similar haircut horror story when he played the barber a video of his ideal style. Unfortunately, when the video was paused, the barber mistook the 'play' symbol as part of the design and shaved a big triangle into the man's head. Lucy Burows shared this picture showing how her hair looked before the appointment (top), what she wanted (bottom-left) and what she got (bottom-right) Another haircut victim was Amy Gallagher, from Kent, who was left with a style 'so bad' she refused to even leave the house. Miss Gallagher went into Supercuts in Orpington, London, for a quick trim and instead had several inches lopped unevenly out of her hair. Not realising the triangle was a 'play' button, the diligent hairdresser shaved one triangle onto each side of his client's head (pictured) to copy the 'trendy' hairstyle, according to the post A hair salon customer in China was allegedly browsing a video when he saw the man sporting a haircut he liked (pictured), so he paused the video to show to his hairdresser, said a viral post Share or comment on this article: All rights reserved for this news site dailymail and under his responsibility
