Jeremy Corbyn says Shamima Begum should be let back into Britain and 'given our support' after ISIS bride was stripped of UK citizenship By Alexander Robertson For Mailonline Published: 14:01 GMT, 21 February 2019 | Updated: 14:01 GMT, 21 February 2019 Viewcomments Jeremy Corbyn has today claimed that IS bride Shamima Begum should be allowed back into Britain and given the 'support that she needs'. He told ITV: 'She was born in Britain, she has that right to remain in Britain and obviously a lot of questions she has to answer but also some support that she needs.' 'She obviously has in my view a right to return to Britain. On that return she must face a lot of questions about everything she's done. And at that point any action may or may not be taken. 'I think the idea of stripping somebody of their citizenship when they were born in Britain is a very extreme manoeuvre.'
