A stripper wept in court today as she was cleared of teaming up with her wife to scam a global banking firm out of tens of thousands of pounds in head hunting fees.
Camilla Forrest, 32, was accused of setting up a sham recruitment consultancy service to con Investec with the help of her partner, Amy Olding, 33, who worked in the firm’s HR department.
Olding admitted the scam but Forrest, who performs at the City of London gentlemen’s club For Your Eyes Only, was cleared after prosecutors offered no evidence.
Forrest was accused of setting up a recruitment firm called City Search Partner and using the company to invoice Olding for bogus recruitment services.
The couple were said to have pocketed £33,400 by submitting invoices for four recruits, none of whom had heard of City Search Partners.
Prosecutor Roger Daniells-Smith said: ‘The two lived together as a couple, Ms Olding was the insider at the bank, in a privileged position, working for the human resources department in recruitment.
He had alleged Forrest, who also works as cabin crew for Virgin Atlantic, took ‘20 percent of the first year’s annual salary.

‘We are dealing with high level banking executives being recruited to the company - we are talking six-figure salaries,’ said Mr Daniells-Smith.
