The battered iron-roofed home in Brisbane's Dutton Park, believed to date back to the 1920s, will go up for auction next month despite being marketed as a 'sight unseen' property. 'Anyone could see the home would be upgraded eventually,' Harcourts Homeside Greenslopes agent Sam Peterffy told realestate.com.au. Listings agent Paul Doyle described the property as a 'dilapidated, circa 1920 home' with high ceilings, ornate timber breezeways and wide pine flooring. But he added the pre-war home had 'fallen on hard times'. 'This home, adorned with charming features, may be restored to its former glory for the option to start again,' he said.
