Paul Hollywood was reportedly left furious after his 23-year-old girlfriend's mum released a public statement about her spat with his estranged wife Alex.
Summer's mother, Sabina Monteys-Fullam, took to Instagram to release a video of herself detailing what she believed happened during a recent argument between her daughter and Alex in a branch of M&S.
The Bake Off presenter, 53, allegedly felt that the family should have kept their silence on the furore and has since whisked Summer away to Japan to get away from the drama.

A source told The Sun: 'This whole episode has been a mess from start to finish, and Paul is pretty livid with how it's been played out.
'Both Paul and Alex want to move on but feel Summer's family hasn't helped matters. Sabina altered the timeline of events to paint Alex in an even worse light, and Paul thinks this was unnecessary and simply stirring up trouble even more.
'Sabina's video obviously got a lot of attention. Paul was angry and said she shouldn't have done it.'

However the source insisted that Paul and Summer's feelings won't impact their relationship with the family long-term as he apparently loves them.
They have reportedly dashed off to Japan on Paul's business trip and are hoping that when they return everything will have gone back to normal.
According to the insider Alex is just keen to move on following the drama and try to forget everything that has already happened.
