Controversial Married at First Sight star Nasser Sultan has sensationally claimed he tried to bribe a police officer after being caught driving without a licence.
Sultan, 51, appeared in the Downing Centre Local Court on Monday to face a charge of driving his moped in Sydney without a licence, just prior to Christmas last year.
He was pulled over by police for a routine breath test about 7:46pm on December 22 in Redfern when the officer noticed he was suspended from driving a motor vehicle.
Sultan pleaded guilty to the charge and received a good behaviour bond on Monday, but outside court told reporters he initially tried to use his notoriety
