The fiancée of AFL star Tim Kelly has lashed out at racist bullies after she revealed an internet troll had called her husband a 'monkey' on Instagram and targeted her three-year-old son. 

Caitlin Miller, 24, said she saw the offensive comment from the account 'ipl_fantasy' under picture of the Geelong Cats player on his social media page.

Ms Miller also said the account posted an offensive caption under a picture of Kelly at AFLX with the couple's son Tykeem, the  Geelong Advertiser reported.

Ms Miller (pictured with Kelly) said her heart broke most for her young son who has already become a target for bullies online

The account has since been deleted left the couple feeling upset as Ms Miller said it was the first time the pair had been subjected to such an attack.
