A taxi driver living in Western Sydney has been accused of travelling to Syria and administering encrypted messages for militant group Islamic State.
The Bangladesh-born man, who has been granted Australian citizenship, travelled to Syria to allegedly fight with the group in 2015, The Sydney Morning Herald reported.
When the man came back to Australia - via Turkey - in September, 2015, he was arrested by Australian Federal Police at Sydney Airport.

At the same time of his arrest, uniformed police raided the man's Auburn home that he shared with his wife, their children, and his wife's children to a previous marriage.
