'He doesn't know anything about me': Nick Kyrgios fires back at Rafa Nadal

Nick Kyrgios has fired back at Rafa Nadal saying that he is 'not going to listen' after the Spaniard said he 'lacks respect.'

Kyrgios hit back at a press conference after the Mexican Open on Wednesday in Acapulco saying that he 'doesn't know anything about me so I'm not going to listen at all.'

Nadal slammed Kyrgios after the Australian told the crowd to 'shut up' and complained about how long the Spaniard was taking between points.

Nadal said in a post-game press conference that Kyrgios 'lacks respect for the crowd, his opponent and towards himself.'

Kyrgios didn't seem too upset by Nadal's comments during a post-game press conference but that didn't stop him from firing back at the world No. 2.

'I'm different. Rafa's different. He can focus on what he needs to do,' Kyrgios said.

'He doesn't know the journey I've been through. He doesn't know anything about me so I am not going to listen at all.'

Kyrgios then said that Nadal takes too long between points and should follow the rule book.

'He is very slow between points and I think that the rule in the book is that you have to play to the speed of the server,' Kyrgios said.

'I've got my game and he's got his own game.

'People are different. I'm not going to take that into consideration at all.'
