Su Yin Khoo recorded her confrontation with the driver, who exited her parked car on the Viaduct Harbour Avenue footpath in Auckland's central business district. A blonde middle-aged woman in active wear was caught on camera getting out of a white Mercedes SUV and says 'I own the whole viaduct'. The pavement parker says she is 'legally allowed' because she owns 'the whole viaduct' Ms Khoo took to Twitter to vent her frustration about the bizarre incident Ms Khoo was riding with her toddler daughter in the bike backseat when she reached the Mercedes blocking most of the footpath. 'This not a parking spot,' Ms Khoo said. The pavement parker smiled and replied: 'Do you know what? I actually am legally allowed to be here - I own the whole viaduct'. 'Can you please move?' Ms Khoo asked. The driver then accused Ms Khoo of 'being rude' and said she is going to video her while pulling out her iPhone. She said she was allowed to block the pavement and was waiting for someone to unblock the bollards in front of her car. 'No you're not,' Ms Khoo said and cycled off. Ms Khoo uploaded the video to Twitter where people have criticised the blonde woman's 'entitlement'. Auckland Transport spokesman Mark Hannan said it is an offence for anyone, regardless of status, to block the footpath.
